JenaValve has protected and pursues patent, design patent and trademark protection in Europe, Japan, the United States of America and other jurisdictions:
- The stent per se and the JenaClip is protected by a number of patents, patent applications and design patents, the earliest dating from 1995 onwards.
- Features to allow stent location, anchoring and repositioning are protected by several patents and patent applications.
- The delivery systems, associated catheters and accessories are protected by a number of patents and patent applications.
- JenaValve is constantly and actively developing its intellectual property position with regard to its latest technological developments to protect JenaValve’s commercial position and interests.
- “JenaValve”, “JenaClip”, “Cathlete”, the crown logo and the slogan “designed with the patient at heart” are registered trademarks of JenaValve Technology GmbH and JenaValve Technology Inc., respectively.
JenaValve’s policy is to recognize third party intellectual property rights and to take the appropriate measures with regard to its freedom to operate position.
